when buying alloys wheels weight is one of the most important issues that affects how a car drives do none of the thousands on alloy wheel suppliers included weight in any of the specs or selling information.

yeah i have one but trying to decide on new rims an most sites are crap. especically when your looking for a non standard fitments.

keep having to phone up to be told not that offset not that stud pattern not that size.

need a site where i can enter size width pcd offset and get a list off what available so i can choose rather than continually choosing only to be told there not available.

also with the above you could enter all the above specs then have options to list by weight price colour etc.

if only i could build websites

Tells you a lot about who they are marketed at.

Good idea for a website maxiboy  Probably not that many people will know those specs though.

but as a trade website with every brand listed you could also show customers what available or list them by model just as easily.

but its difficult if you have to phone every supplier to find that i can,t find any i like and then most don,t know the weight.

think i,ll be going to image wheels or similar.

A bit old school, but I always bring along a digital bathroom scale whenever I go shopping for rims. Plus, I don't trust rims dealers when the say it's ultra light weight. Some rims have weight stamped on the insides of the rim, but can be 1 kg over the stamped weight when put on the scale.

id also recommend speaking direct to the suppliers if your after such info

Motorsport Wheels would be a good choice, they deal with OZ, Fox, MVK and some others

most companies dont publish wheel weights though so your looking at specific light wheels really from the likes of OZ and Speedline, maybe Koenig aswell if you can get hold of them
