Friday 24/8/07 11.20pm
Whilst visiting my friends in Chesterfield we decided to stop by Macdonalds for a quick bite. I noticed a Williams 2 in very good condition scoping out my car before heading to the drive through. M*** ***

We headed towards the carriageway. Once I followed him round the roundabout I knew he was gonna go for it so I dropped it into second and booted it! And although he seemed to pick up speed I just breezed past him with ease! :o
I asked my friends did he go for it? But my mate sitting next to me reckons so by the look on their faces as I went passed. To say mine had 3 lads in the car as oppossed to 2 in his with their stainless mod as opposed to no mods on mine except magnecor blue leads and iridium plugs I was well pleased!

I followed him to the slip round expecting round 2 of humiliation but he just headed off home. :D shame really I would have liked a chat...

or it was carring 20 grow bags in the back as they had just been down b&q :D and filled up on a tank of petrol about 1/2 a mile before :P

still sounds like fun, not really raced any other williams before in mine, not full on anyways

mines 432 96 plate but engine out of a 2? oh yeah, i spanked a two royally, i think it was daz tbh, as he was the first to bite ;)

surely barring mods, the only difference between the 1s, 2s n 3s is how well the cars been looked after? I know 3's weigh a bit more, but seriously we're not talking much?
If a williams 1 beats me in straight line its down to mods surely, as its same car? or round corners better driving? I dont understand the 2 vs3 or 3 vs 1 discussions. Theyre all pretty much the same right?

yeah all 3 variants have the same engines.. 3 may be slughtly heavier due to the abs etc 2s and 3s have door bars for safety...however a fat bastard 1 driver will equal this out.


Most cars when they come off the production line will have a different power output to one another. maybe as much as + - 10 bhp. this is due to manufacturing imperfection and component tolerances. Some Porsches vary by 30-40 bhp!! and thats from the factory.. That is why a custom remap is always the way to go!


there are also other factors such as servicing history, driving style age etc.

Also the other major factor is - does the driver have brass balls!!

pretty much what gunner just mentioned. there should be no difference in the 1, 2s and 3's 'Mines just been really well looked after and It surprised me to see how quick I was the another Williams.

bah you drive a 3 - I'll need a bigger rear view mirror :D
