You'll be very lucky.
In all the cars i have seen i have only ever seen the bootlock working off the key once! and thats on the car i'm selling now.

I have a spare kicking around from when i replaced the tailgate, but obviously no key...

Yes, i hope so,
with mine the key or the central locking doesn't open the boot,
i am having to leave the trim panel off and pull the rod across from inside to open it, not that i use the boot much, but it just bugs me.

Hopefully see pics tomorrow then, thanks.

was working when removed - but I don't have the key...

I swapped tailgates for another as mine was crashed into by a 4x4 :evil:

This is the lock that came with the tailgate - worked via the central locking when it was installed - I've simply swapped this unit for my own to get it working with the key...


If you really want they key - I can try and source the original owner to see if he has the keys for it (was breaking the car iirc :()
