Have you had the car rolling road mapped?
If not, you should see big gains.

Can only go by experience:
Golf 2.0tdi mk5 140psi completely standard - after rolling road remap (chipped uk) went to 181bhp!

Your clutch looks part cera-metallic and part organic. Where did you get it and how much did it cost?

it is al little bit confused in this topic. what was the max hp van de 1.9 td that you have found. i have the same engine in my volvo 440. i am also busy to find more power. i will change the intercooler and give it a little bit more presure. i'm now driving on 0,9 bar presure. on a dyno had it 94 HP. what kind of turbo did you installed? thanx

What did you do to the engine internally?
And how do you give enough fuel for the higher boost?

Never thought an old Renault diesel engine would withstand that much power!

Hi,
The internals were worked and the engine block was opened to 2.0cc.
It took:

- large 150bar injectors
- modified injection pump
- bigger turbo
- air adimssão BMC CDA
- interccoler front
- oil cooler
- 60mm stainless steel exhaust internal
- flywheel lightened
- strengthened clutch
- short shift box
- JC5-052 speeds

Im hoping to start a project very similar to this using a clio 16v rolling shell and a pug 306 1.9dt and box - with a few choice mods good for 180-190bhp and bags of torque.
