finally had a go against my mates mi16 on carbs, on the way to fcs, just couldn't be ass'd posting it until now, only had a few goes, 3rd gear acceleration, left me, 4th gear, left me, 5th gear.same, all putting foot down from about 70mph onwards, only time i reckon i would have an advantage would be top end of 4th and 5th, he's running a 1.6 box, pulled a good car and a half on me each time, had we both set off from the lights i would imagine it to be a good 3 cars in front of me by a ton :shock: .......its very fast!
running around 200bhp, he's gearbox is a bit dodgy at the moment, when its fixed i'll have some proper goes against it, just to see how much it rapes me.
ps. he didn't even rev it round to the limiter, as it was a mate driving the car with the owner in the passenger seat crying about it:cry: :roll:
