is it ok to lower it on to my standard dampers? or is it better to buy new dampers?

fine on std upto about 60mm after that you start to compress them a lot

Lowered mine one notch on the back and they're pretty much bottomed out. Nice and stiff tho now 8)

thinkin of doin this myself, was it a bitch of a job or fairly easy.

If the splines are greased and not rusted solid it takes no time at all really. Did mine on a ramp which made the job easier :D
