just want to know what my options are regaurding chipping a willy? whats the rough cost and best place to go?

ECU needs the stock chip desoldering, a chip carrier soldering on, then a new re-mapped chip can be plugged in. Hill Power, K-Tec to name a few

Get a Gunner chip fitted, i wrote a brief guide in the guides section so you can see whats involved in doing it.

Its a cheap but very effective mod!

im a bit weryof chips that you just solder on , are they mapable or not?

no, they arent...the eprom on these has to be replaced (as above). theres plenty of generic map files for different spec engines flying about....speak to Gunnergibson on here to see if he can match one to your current spec and blow it onto a virgin 'prom.

other than that, theres a couple of places who will do specific calibrations, but if she's near enough standard I wouldnt really recomend it.
