Lots to do there mate! Not seen a rusty arch like that one in a while, interesting as well your number plate is very close to mine just the 7 and 5 are different on mine! Do you know where the car came from?
thats the good side still to do............ got the car in airdrie (glasgow area) and to be honest never seen one so bad with rust, so tracking it is about the only thing that could be done with it, as it should be light with less metal.........
LOL  get the grinder out!
grinder, air saw and welder are worn out as it is........ :lol:hate trying to weld to nothing......
very nice mate - i hope to see this out on track with us.
so do i, although most track days i'll be at will be knockhill............
buckets are now in and ready to tackle the other arch, then hopefully the respray.....
progress has yet again been slow due to complaining neighbours......
its getting dusty

Then you should get yourself to my Father-in-laws place, he has a seperate garage and hydraulic lift, and a Master Technician for Toyota (35 years), and every snap-on tool you can possible imagine (i'm wearing the snap-on socks lol. Oh minor detail... he's in the states!
To be honest, we'd all love a garage like that and a lift, I rented our place because it has a garage and a drive.
Willy3 >Cars starting to look really good. You going for pro job on the paint or spraying it yourself?
Matthew
be spraying it myself, well my mates will be so proffesional enough....... going for 2 different colours i think, after all it is a track car........
If your looking to get sponsorship, you may want it to look good. No sponsor wants a crap looking car associated with their products/services. If your not looking for sponsorship then it doesn't matter.
Matthew
not bothered about sponsership, cars just a bit of budget racing........
think it will owe me something like £500 when finished so as long as it can do a few track days then its money well spent....... should be getting painted maybe next weekend so yous can judge for yourselfs on the quality of paintjob, although won't be to everyones taste.........
