Im not joking lads my 16v pulls like a train in this weather.
It ****ing eats the tarmac up!
Does anyone else find this?
Its absolute ultimate 16v wetaher.
Slightly humid with loads of cloud cover with a bit of dampness to the air.
The induction kit grunts and groans like a goodun. 4k and over in 4th and 5th it sounds awesome right up to the redline! :D
Loads of low down torque too, which might sound bullshit as 16v's dont have much in that department but it really really does have more in this weather.
Please keep this weather!

Yeah i think i remember it was better like this too with me old valver.
I had Induction kit then, but ive just got std airbox back with panel filter inside as it can still be stupid hot and the heatsoak just pure sucks.
Besides i have an aftermarket exhaust for noise hehe!

Heatsoak ****ing really sucks.
Especially when your ticking over at the traffic lights at which point a vtr comes up along side you and kinda embarasses you!

Wouldnt think they are anything special in this weather tbh? :?
Cold winters night showing like 1 degree on the gauge, on the motorway blapping down the motorway is where the car is a whole different animal IMO.

Agreed, winter nights are best, thats when an open filter comes into its own imo, over the panel filters

Definately doin this next weekend!
After seein drsmiths post and yours.
I wanna know where you got that bottle from too!? I like that as opposed to a flexi bag!
I also need to find somewhere that does aluminium piping which I think im gonna use over silicone hoses!
Im not paying intercooler prices for the piping. Anyone any ideas on where to find some piping?
Ive googled it and spent an hour looking but with no joy.

Shreks car, right?
air is denser in this weather (heavier with moisture) hence more of enters combustion chamber giving better fuel to air ratio , in laymans terms better performance.
What sort of gains can be had with above induction kit?
On a willy engine that is?

awesome induction roar, apparently its the best place regarding pressure differentials and is the best for reducing heat soak. you have to do some jiggery pokery to get it sorted though! check a couple of threads, i did one the other week!
