Quick question for you guys;
I've just taken a telephone point box off the wall upstairs in my house as i want to fit an RJ11 connector onto the wires. This would then allow me to fit an RJ11 coupler plus 10m extension an taken a phone line up to the loft where i want to put my pc router etc.
Problem is i can't seem to get the right pin combo into the RJ11!
Does anyone know the right combination for this?
The lead in question has the 6 green/green+white, blue/blue+white and orange/orange+white wires inside it. From reading google i think i can ignore the green ones (the RJ11 only takes 4 wires anyway) but i need to know what wire goes where (i.e. wire x to pint x etc) and also from which side of the RJ11 do i identify pin 1.
Thanks in advance!
