I think you could get more than that for it. Saw a standard one with 89k on it for £4995 the other day.

^^ Standard one will always be worth more - slighlty modded cars never do quite as well as mint standard ones unless you find a buyer who wants EXACTLY what your selling then theres plenty of scope for good money.

The prices seem to have nose dived though, i really like ph1 172's the best of the mk2's imo so always follow the prices etc and they seem to have really dropped have seen 40k bog standard ones go for 4k. Tis a nice car, similar to what id do to one if i bought one.

car is now staying,
i went to have a look at the car i was selling this for ( mk1 golf with a vr6 lump) and it wasnt as good as i had hoped there is nothing else that could replace this so she stays with me :D
