right, today i turned on my xbox to load up forza and it got to the first menu, and turned off, then on the on button there are three red lights flashing, and the manual basically says contact microsoft, before i phine, has anyone else experienced this or know what the problem is? as i don't really wanna part with it, as i'll be bored as hell :cry:

Unlplug everything and then try to start it up again. If it works then it will be ok for a while. If 3 red lights come up again its ****ed. Xbox 360's are such great machines but at the same time they are shit! :evil:

Under warrenty, send it back to M/S (will send you a new one)

If not, there are a few guides on the net on how to modify the heatsinks as that seems to be the fault (Newer models have more although MS wont agree there is a fault in the design)

The wont send you a new one... They send refurbed ones! If you have warrenty from where you bought it from contact them and get it replaced.

Im taking mine back to argos this week, had it nearly a year but it keeps freezing and crashing on me and telling me the discs dirty so im gonna go and get me a nice new one (argos replace them straight away :twisted: )

Its a common fault, my bro's GF works at game and they get it a lot, my first xbox kept doin it to certain games, this one has started doing it now :evil:

i 've jus got off the phone too microsoft and i gotta send it back, they'll fix it and i aint getting it back until 20-25 days time :cry: what the hell am i going to do in the mean time? the weathers S**T so the willy's garaged up and i have no real friends because of the 360!!!!! :cry: (the last part was kinda lying, before you all think i'm sad and have no life) :wink:
