i want some decent suspension around the region of £300-400 for my willy, but i want something that can be bolted on and left for good with minor maintainence involved, but will prove good on my car which is maily for road use and the few track days i can afford, anyone got any suggestions? thanks.

as above standard but change the wishbones and all 4 ARB bushes.

You will bottle out before the car reaches its limits.

Good god!

They spend £££££ on testing, testing, testing....

imo you can't get better for day to day and occasional track unless you make it a full time track warrior

As everyone else has said - standard.

Or are you doing this so it looks better?

That looks about the same as mine with 172 cup springs. Looks great at that hight I think and no cracked wings!

Absolutely everything, you're probably looking at around £500. Just for the shocks and springs, about £250.

what does "absolutely everything" consist of?

and do u use standard suspension on your white hybrid?

Zollo

Shocks, front and rear
Front springs
Top mount kit
Wishbones (inc. ball-joints)
Anti-roll bar bushes
Track-rods
Tie-rods
Bearings, front and rear

Are you referring to Martin's white Hybrid? If so - he was thinking about going back to standard, but he's sold it now.

Std setup but with -25mm springs upfront and the torsion bar set to -30mm ish best comprimise IMHO

This lot set me back over £500 but you won't need the ARB or bush brackets

standard rubber. The outer arb bushes if they are original will probably be worn through or nearly the inner ones will be cracked and if waters got in the bar starts to saw through the bushes.

nothing ruins a car like poly bushes, also the poly bushes wear through the subframe as they are poorly designed, not as bad as the vauxhall ones which will cause the arm to pull away after 5 or so years as it machines right through the mounting points.
