i have acquired various mixed bits of PBV upto now and i cant see how it all fits tbh still! :oops:

the main metal bits i have are in pic 1 rest is just hoses which am okay with!

why is there 2 inlets on the sides of the valve? do i need to block one off and if so which? (pic 2)

how do i connect the hose to one of these 2 inlets as the connector on there (3rd pic) wont fit on the fuel line?

I answered of on CW but i'll save you the mouse clicks if you come here first;

Yep, one of the inlets should be blocked off for a 16v.

Thats not a renault PBV you've got as the outlet should be straight down and the inlet should also be a lot longer to allow the hose to slide on then be jubilee clipped tight...your one looks like it takes a screwed pipe? Thats not necessarily a bad thing as the they are renound for coming loose if clipped down.

Fitting wise its easy once you know.

1. Swap the std fuel reg for the adapter shown,
2. Cut the return to tank pipe at the fuel rail and block off the bit coming from the rail (with a short bit of pipe and a bolt),
3. Run a pipe from the adpater to the PBV inlet,
4. Run a pipe from the PBV outlet to the return to tank pipe and join with the other metal bit.

As i said, thats not a reno PBV you've got so its going to be a pain having the screwed fitting on the reg. Having got spares from FSE before i'd advise just getting a proper reno PBV rather than getting a the non .screwed inlet

Hope this helps.
