i am currently looking at new build 2 bed apartments round my way but have no idea on cost of living.

the apartment is £120,000-170,000 not sure what council tax band this is?
2 beds bathroom kitchen.

its gonna be me and 1 other living there, and gonna be well strict about leaving tvs on etc

basically i want to no costs of:

council tax
gas and electric
water
contents insurance?

My council tax is band C which works out at 180 a month
gas an electric in a 2 bed apartment I would say £80-£100 a month, but get them with the same supplier cos u usually get a discount if you do.

In a new build like I am, water can be expensive as its on a water meter- so you pay for what you use. Mines is about £35 a month.

dont forget the other things like TV licence, sky, broadband etc.

My contents insurance is £40 a month, but it totally depends on the area you live in.
