got one in the car... and i want it to work, but have no clue what sensors it runs off or the easyest way to plumb it in.

it goes to the lambda sensor mate,it works by sensing the switching of the lambda voltage

thought so, whats the easiest way to get there, and which wire do i splice into as there are 2 from memory.

should be spliced in to the signal wire. that should go upto the ecu. so its easier to splice it in there.

mine list them as

A Yellow earth

B Black live

C Mauve signal

dont suppose you know how much current it is. mite bodge it round the door as a test..

guess what the wire at the top was!

ran a wire over the dash out the door under the bonnet for now as a test.

it seems to work, tho anything over 2.5k RPM and its too lean apparently.

what readings am i ment to be getting etc.

think it should run in the optimal range all the time. did it not have instructions at all. never fitted one myself.

none, it came with the car not wired in... its very annoying!

someone must have one... HELP (not that you havent already:))

when i had a air/ fuel mixture gauge it had a grey signal wire the other were just live and earth

Mite ebay it and stick in a vaccume guage instead.

when you fitted this guage did the mauve wire run all the way to the ecu? is there anyother mauve ones there i done want to splice the wrong one :lol:

didnt check.. :P

opened up the loom before it enters the scuttle panel then stripped the mauve one then wrapped the signal lead round it and it worked!
