View Full Version : rocker cover and engine bits paint colour?

im in the process of painting my mounts, rocker, inlet manifold, and various brackets. ive tried a high temp siver/grey and a high temp alluminium but there jus not right.
can anyone give me either a product or paint colour to use?

Am looking into getting mine powder coated atm.
just waiting on the qutoe.

You could try some other paints, there's a guide to painting rocker covers on retro renault and the guy mentions the rubbish selection of high temp colours. He said he used a normal non high temp paint and his has been fine.

i have used normal paints on engines/brakes for years and never had a problem.

so just normal rattle cans? probably use high temp laquor.
