Hi guys williams 1 up for sale just done 100 thousand has full service history has no rust at all paintwork is amazing because of how its been looked after its totally original apart from a few tweeks by hill power. its been in our ownership for almost 18 months and was actually bought through this site number 336. I would say over 6 grand has been spent on the car since we have had it basically i would go as far as saying its one of the best in the country. We are asking £5995 ovno no pics yet but will post them if you have any doubt in the price then phone me and i will run through why its worth the money will not sell to any cowboys. Contact number is 07956687546 or post your questions on here and i will do my best to get back to you.

If he wants to sell his car he needs a few pointers from members who've had experience with selling/buying cars

Slander and heckling yes I agree thats out of order on someones for sale thread but general recommendations surely aren't a bad thing?

He'd be waiting a long time to get 6k for that car, probably wondering why he doesn't get any interest - is it not wise to help the needy?

think some of you guys are out of order i have been a member on here for a long time i have had a clio sport myself but what i will say about this clio williams when it comes back from the renault gargae is that compared to alot of the rust buckets i have seen on here it is worth what ever someone is willing to pay. It has no rust compared to alot i have seen it is renault stamped throughout its life also it has been mechanically enhanced through hill power so no it is not a car that i think is 3 or 4 grand. All i will say is i will post some pics as soon as it comes back. 100k on a 1993-4 L reg is excellent milleage and the car has never been thrashed around the roads like many, and the williams 1 is by far the better of the 3.

Mate, I've just sold my valver (naples red) in immaculate condition, 69,000 with fully stamped renault service history, thousands spent on engine mods all done by GDI and k-tec for £2500. (And I struggled to get 2.5k for it)

You WILL NOT get 6k for your car mate, doesn't matter how long you've been a member.

Just sayin.

but its a valver mate nice car but not a willy i dont think i will get six but would not take less then 5 for it. I am not using my membership of this club as added value to this car.

I'm using it as a comparison mate.

I could go out and buy a better williams for 3 - 3.5k.

I'm not saying your car is bad in any way, I'm sure its not, but even for 5 grand, its still highly overpriced. Whether you agree or disagree with that its up to you, but have you not noticed that no-one has shown any interest in the car?

For 5k, you would be looking at a williams that has spent most of its life in a garage locked up with silly low miles on it and no mods.

The opposite to yours.

Are we ever going to see pictures of this Willy or has this topic been posted specifically to provoke a reaction?
