hi all
Im in the process of fully rebuilding my valver and have already ditched the PAS pump (for space) and rack, I have also aquired a 1.2 16v electric rack.
I was planning on fitting a mk2 1.2 16v abs unit which im told is standalone and can be switched off if wanted, but the main reason was for the output for the electric racks speed sensitivity. But having a ph1 valver with no abs rings or sensors, fitting would be a ball ache due to having to fit the above parts just for the reading/abs to work, if its the last resort then i'll just have to go ahead with it.
Is there another way I could get a reading for the sensitivity without the abs unit or can i take a reading off the road speed sensor on the speedo cable? or is there any other way i can use the leccy rack as i dont want a manual, im not a girl, i just prefere it
also what are the part numbers for PAS rack removal, brackets and belt? (on a F7R engine)
the car will be hybrid'd but im wanting space near the front of the engine if i decide to go ITB's etc.
thanks
