1993 Peugeot 306 XSI 2ltr 8v in Diablo Red.
I bought the car from a local mechanic who serviced the car yearly and eventually purchased themselves. I bought it to use while my clio was being fixed, my car has now been fixed so my 306 is up for sale.
The car is in good condition for the year and also benefits from a set of 306 gti-6 cyclone alloys wheels with good tyres, which really set the car off (and worth £250 alone!)
The car was serviced at 78,000 miles including new air filt, oil filter, spark plugs and new oil. The engine is on 79,400 miles, there are no loud tapping/unusual noises, no blue smoke and the engine doesnt use any oil. It pulls from low revs in all gears while still returning 35mpg!
The car has MOT till March 2008 and tax till June 07.
Standard specification includes;
Electric windows,
Electric mirrors,
Power assisted steering,
CD players,
Sunroof,
Sports interior in excellent condition,
Remote central locking,
ABS.
The only bad points being two rust patches on the roof (as shown in the pictures) and at some point the car seems to have had a slight knock as the front bumper and grill are slightly out of line. The rest of the bodywork is in brilliant condition with no visible rust/scratches or dings. I have lost the log book but have applied for a new one (with reciept to prove).
This is a genuine, HPI clear, standard example of a nippy and reliable hot hatch.
