View Full Version : Terrential Rain = Misfire?
The hybrid started misfiring last night on the way home from work and has done the same today. It seems to get worse the harder it rains and it has rained really hard the last couple of days on and off.
Could water being getting into the plug wells and causing this? If not, what else could cause it?

Not massive but may have been a few. Shall i take the airbox apart and air it all out then?

May be anu idea...but as u said...make sure theres no water sitting on the plugs.
Spray WD40 on any plug connectors in and underneath the engine bay as well as the gearbox earth. Or just wait a few days and let them dry out by themselves.
turned out to be a soaking wet ecu
