Power Output 160.8Bhp at the wheels
Power Output 182.1Bhp / 165lbft at the flywheel
8) good stuff! Idle's nice and quiet now, a trained ear will be able to tell the cars been cammed but doesn't sound like a mustang on drugs anymore :P
Very good....please update your garage buddy

13.5% losses is abit low. usually say 17%, making calculated fly power 188bhp.
Waynes dyno uses coast down for losses, which isnt accurate, and typically lower, as proven in this case.

wheel horse power is where it's all at Craig as you said ;) im happy with it. Just want the chance to open it up abit and take advantage of the new map and limiter
What do you think to it...what limiter did you go for?
is it just cams/remap and a rebuild or more??
Good effort mate.
More importantly, how long was you there LOL

Long enough to go and have dinner in yates's with Lee. lol
My front room never got hoovered as you corrupted him up there all day cliolord!
:D
thats impressive mate what did u have done exactly on the head?
It was a £400 job from me, and Catcams 5502225 cams.
is that just labour? can u be more specific :?:
it was modified ports whilst reatining std valves and seats...it cost £400.
i.e thats was for the head alone...he supplied it to me, i worked it, he fitted it. cams are 450, pulleys 200.

groovy. Martin, I dont know what the limiter was set to I forgot to say anything. I gave him my valver ECU to map and kept the standard willy ECU to sell. He said he gave it a higher limiter as it makes power past 6,500rpm. I did hit the limiter but my RPM guage doesnt seem to go much past 6,500rpm although it sounds like its rev'in alot higher than it did by far. I was a naughty boy and took it to 145mph on the speedo on private road and it was still going but i backed off :P
It took about 3hours i think? Lee is a good chap for taking me and the miss' to grab some food. I also saw his track slag with the funky polished phase 1 steering wheel
good stuff.
now u know why hes the only mapper i recommend ;)
what spec are the cams stan - the page doesnt load for me.
5502225
In/Ex
261 / 258° @ 0.1mm
234 / 230° @1mm
10.90 / 10.65mm
1.55 / 1.30mm @ TDC
little bit up from the RN2002's then
Nice one !
I want to compare a std williams to a cam'd one!
A/ because my williams feels slow!!
B/ My 172 Thrashes it! - yet everyone on here reckon's they can beat an RS.
mine is standard and not the quickest but i only lose a couple of car lengths to a 172/182 so there must be something wrong with it if it is thrashing yours.

do a leak-down test. is it standard?

what does your williams do down the 1/4mile ?

I doubt very few people on here have an absolutely completely standard Williams though. And a few small mods seem to go a long way I've found 8)

8) ...that'll do for me, puts mine at 201bhp if my calculations are correct... :)
 crazy stuff Gaz. When does your power peak? Stick your graph up here. I will do the same

Meh piece of shit engine, mine only made 108.4ft lb at Hill Power :?
take it they at the fly figures ;)
at the wheel figures will b less.
think mine was about 125 lb/ft at the wheels on RE's rollers when wayne mapped it...........from 4.5k rpm to redline
mine made 10nm less than it should...
but more bhp o.O
Torque at wheels isnt fair comparison...its determined by the gearbox. Best way (the way the best chassis dyno's work) is to measure roller speed versus engine speed to determine ratio, and from that work back to torque at the fly from torque at the wheels.
'Power sells cars, Torque wins races.'
Tell that to an F1 engineer :P
