Take it to a specialist mate. Mine was ceased and they used a hydraulic pushing tool thingy to release it.
It was £80 and I just couldnt be arsed farting around on my drive doing that.
Keefy's the LEDGE when it comes to bars up or down it's all irrelevant 8)

Sure mate.
Im in Preston, and got it done at protec in bamber bridge.
I can find the number if you want. All depends on whether you are local I suppose.
Any specialist tuning place will sort it for you. Id ring round mate, and ask them if they have a hydraulic tool for pushing out torsion bars. Not sure on the technical name! By all means have a go yourself, just depends whether you have the patience and technology know how!
There will be plenty local to you Im sure. Renault will have one but I doubt they woill lower cars! Worth a ring though I suppose! :o
