Traffic Light GP :D

Got a jump on him pulling away and in first, so he was about half a car length behind. By the top-end of third his front bumper was just about hovering by my rear-quarter. And then I was saved by the straight coming to an end!

Not bad for a standard jobbie :)

Aye 2.0tfsi is a quick un, feels better than the 225bhp 1.8t even with less power! A lot more responsive imo.

Seen one in a mk1 golf gti already. Must be a flying machine!

Yeah, I've driven two of these GTis now and they feel really strong. Easily the equal to my mate's Mk4 R32. The dealership demo one did feel a lot pokier than the other one mind

I love driving (thrashing  ) demo's, loosens em up really well, we had a 3.2 A3 demo that was an animal after 10k

A guy at uni has a MK5 GTI Golf. I beat it in my williams. There not fast. The williams can beat S3's too.

All S3's break lol but then again im biased! Saying that though, theyre rare to come in now and theyre generally looked after examples, surprising the difference 15bhp makes too.

Must admit, my old GTi 6 didn't have a problem against an early 210bhp S3. Was most surprised at the time! :D

Very sweeping statements there fella!

S3's are fat and heavy. Power to weight means alot.

Myself and ae have a mate which has just bought a 225bhp s3 and from 0 to 100mph they are neck and neck. Even on the move 40-100mph there is nothing between them.
