new rider hasn't got a prayer of insuring a gixer, not even a 600,they just refuse point blank but will cover an r6 which is a group higher :?
Especially when he's never been on one before and shits himself going fast on a pushbike
not sure an R6 is a group higher!!!! :?

My mate's first bike was a Gixxer too. T'was a K1 GSXR600, bought back in August 2001 when they'd first come out. That was with Carol Nash, I think.
Someone's asking the wrong insurance companies!

i trust she went thru the mot with no problems :)

pics of bike will be up later tonight for anyone whos interested

i got insured at 30,fresh rider on a r6 for £614 fully comp through carol nash who wouldn't insure me on the gsxr
He was 22 as well! :P
That's not too bad a quote for the R6 though. Weird about the Gixxer. They'd insure me (27) on my Gixxer, and I don't have any NCB. But it was £650 TPFT, so I went elsewhere and got it for £450 :)
I had a new R6 in 2005 and was insured for £550 fully comp with motorcycle direct - always given me really good quotes. I was 22 then.

My 18 year old mate has a Suzuki GSXR 1000 (06 plate), he promotply smashed into the side of a car in a car park attempting a wheelie.
The bikes now rebuilt and hes ready to go again, shame hes got a 12 month driving ban.

so no number plate and no rear pegs - I'm guessing this is a track bike?! tax? mot? come on, out with the info!
nah its fully registered, 1 previous owner before me from new
number plate was off because it was cracked and a new one is now on.
didnt think they come with rear pegs???? there only one seat :?
Yeah, they should come with rear pegs. And also a seat to go in place of the plastic cowl on the tail unit. Anyway, if you or the next owner need the pegs, I've got some spare ones to sell :P
