They've been doing it with 5's for a few years now, the principle is really quite simple, weld some strut turrets from the front of a clio in the back and mount a subframe in the back too, gear-linkage is simple as the boxes are inline and both facing the same way so you just attach them both to the same stick, then its just a case of clutch and acc cable which shouldn't be too much fettling.
there's a company that can weld the turrets and subframe mounting points in, they've done a couple

That car looks AWESOME

My thoughts exactly, the extra power would outweigh the extra weight.

would also cost a hell of a lot more to do, 2 sorted gtt lumps would cost about 1-2k if you know the right people, 2 blown F7R's would set you back over 7k, the lad who built it put 4 months hard graft into it and isn't a "cheque book racer"
awesome, suprised no one new about it earlier
sick....they have 11.9 to beat IIRC, should do it if the cars still light enough, 4wd helps a lot!
sweet as :D martin who done 11.9?
Matt's done 11.9 in the TT clio
thats a mk2 tho so does'nt count  its 13.1 in my book that needs to be beaten :D got a good chance tho with the above car :-k
