I have a Starter motor off a Williams 1, that was been broken. It had done about 50,000 miles.

I wanted it for my Williams, but found that there were 2 types for the williams 1 and I needed the other type. this type is Valeo D9E 138 it maybe good for 16v too.

Anyway, if you are interested it's on ebay

There was some debate about this part, but i can confirm that is comes from a williams
see page 3 of this web address http://krc.vpi.pl/KRC/turbo/porady/silniki/SilnikF7R700.pdf

Thanks

That won't fit a williams, we've already told you its too fat, the F7R 700 block has veins on it and that starter is too wide.

Did you look at the autodata web page, that links this starter motor type to the williams?
