rite was giving it some beans earlyier car was just reaching about 6k in 4th and it like hit a limiter banged it into 5th and on full throttle same thing but lower down the revs. Now evertime i go to give it a boot full it gets to about 3.5k and starts missfiring/stuttering. Im not happy cos mr mr2 non turbo man would of got wasted otherwise but this reversed the role lol. Anyway it only seems to happen when i go to give it a boot full, car starts fine and ticks over fine so dont think its a fueling problem but im not certain. Any common faults gents?

how much oil did you have in there?

not as much as i thought it would take to make it missfire to be honest, but cleaned it up and was okay again for a little while

How did you get the oil out? It goes down quite far, is it missing again now then?

Sounds like the plugs might be fouling up with oil leaked though the gasket. If the plugs look quite oily after a hard run, just change the rocker gasket.

sprayed brake cleaner down there then got a wrag and poked around with a long screwdriver
