whats the ideal weight you want your willy/16v?
as mines currently at 860KG, and still have to invest in persex windows and light weight wheels/bucket seats.

Anything less than 800kg would be nice for me... I've weighed everything I've taken out and if they started on 980 kg, as claimed, then I am down to 806 kg at the moment and still have a few more kilos I can shave off. Once complete I'll stick it on a weighbridge and see what it really weighs!
tbh i dont have a clue, theres no interior except the dash left, but i also have a cage so add 30kg back on, still need to get perspex windows and few other bits but im not that fussed if its not below 900kg
any where between 900kg/1000kg and 300 to 400 bhp would be lovely

i got mine down to 810kg without to much striping did help that my engine was slightly lighter though  think really there isnt an optimum overall weight as that would all depend on what power your running. you really want to be looking more at the weight distribution
