Got a standard 1.8.. Want to get a f7r bottom for that little extra torque and then nos the puppy...
Ran so many different ideas through my head that I want to do, but this is want I fancy, so that what im doin... Gonna go with wizards of nos 50 shot wet kit with progressive controller...
Things I believe I will need
Willy box
Uprated Clutch
Rebuilt Bottom end
New Gaskets and bolts
Nos kit itselfs
Reasonably Deep Pockets lol
Anything else you can think of please add..
if ur jb3 box is still strong dont change it till u blow it!lol
am runnin that box n its spot on, altho it is only 2 years old! :lol:
Well my box is very tight, so may last for a bit lol

speak with summeh, he has a very professional nos kit on his williams
wrong mate im afraid.
nick read ran nos and blew all 4 pistons to bits almost.......as well as blowin the plug out, shattering the air box, and causing quite a bit of damage.....

bad nos setup then, probably not running as it should have been
yea, i've still got a 100bhp setup on a 1982 mk1 xr2, and thats got the old crossflow in it.
Its pretty hit and miss and depends how much time you spend setting it up and how sophisticated your willing to get.

I dont think I could bare the thought of my engine going bang through use of nos, all those hours back in my garage throwing money at the thing once again. You must be mad to run NOS, balls of steel :lol:
Well I think if its set up properly on a strong engine, shouldnt get any trouble...
btw.might i add....nicks was on a rebuilt (iirc) 1800 .set up by wizards of nos.progressive controller etc etc etc....those that know nick will know wen he does summat, he usually does it right.
was on the rollers wen it blew.
