lowering springs from a 16v would make it LOW -35mm 16v springs would probably drop the car 60-70mm
Im asking would lowering springs off a valver fit an RT ok?

I might be able to sell you some pretty soon, with front shocks (brand new shocks, but used springs though in good condition) as well at a very good price. They would be 54mm spacing.
If you would be interested drop me a PM, it would be samg1988 selling them but just PM me and I will speak to him about it as I'm not sure he's on here much.
The Question isnt answered, he's Kinda sorted a set
will a set of 50-60mm springs fitted to a Valver, fit the RT suspension struts ok??

think so. Don't know how much it will lower it by though.

They'll but give like a 100mm drop almost on an RT

Its hard to say though as although valvers are 35mm lower as standard I would imagine the 16v lump is a fair bit heavier so you won't quite see as much of a drop on the RT as 100mm.

Key word in my last post 'almost'
Donsrno1 is right - the weight difference complicates things.
-35mm 16v springs will be no lower than -55mm non 16v springs on an RT.
-50mm 16v springs will give the same ride height as -35mm 16v on an RT as the poundage is heigher
Tested on a 1.2..
I'm selling a full -55mm sus kit for an RT...

I am confused...
s0 35mm 16v springs will give me 50mm drop on my 1.2????
Yes basically - any 16v lowering springs won't drop it any further than the lowest non 16v kit.
Remember tho 16vs are lower anyway....bottom line you ain't going to get an RT as low as a 16v on springs without using coilovers.
So hes best off going for -35mm ones on his 1.4 RT?
Which Will Make the car roughly 50-55mm drop?
Sorry if im sounding dumb

If you buy eibach springs they supply the same ones as whats fitted to the 16v. I had these and there spot on, lower about 30mm.
donsrno1 - have you still got the shocks and springs for sale, If so what are they and how much would you want for em.
Cheers
