not alot of people do work on these engines but there are a few people on the renault turbo owners club (www.rtoc.org) who are very good with the volvo lump. haz and the pervy mechanic are the people in the know. pervy mechanic is able to remap the standard ecu to a point as well.

for buying one your prob best to get a whole car that go for peanuts on ebay cause you will need the ecu etc as well as the engine

My mate had a r5 was guna put the 1.7 lump in, decided not to go through
wit it. hes sellin the whole set up think hes got ecu wirin lume etc.

I'll giv him call laters see wot he wans for it all
may even be able send on pallet frm works despatch :wink:
