I have owned this car since October 2005 when I purchased it with engine trouble.

It is a K reg 449 blue Clio 16v with engine and gearbox from a williams 1. I have a full service history for both the car and the williams engine. The conversion was done professionally with uprate cams and renewing a lot of other parts.

Since I got the car I have taken the head and sump of and have found irregulary movement in the crank.

I have also a F7P engine box and chipped ecu to put in the car to get it back on the road. The williams engine is complete minus the ecu cams and pullies so could be rebuilt again or you could just put the standard 1.8 engine in.

It also has:

Full electrics, PAS, ABS,

Recently refurbished original speedline williams wheels with diamond cut rim, all carried out by lepsons in Gillingham, look mint. Uniroyal rainsport 1945/45 tyres

Sigma cat 1 alarm/immobiliser

Lowered on New Apex 50mms + shocks

Williams dials and belts

Red Dot grooved front disc with pads done 2000 miles

New wheel bearings 1000 miles ago

I do not have the time to work on it so I am considering selling it as it is depending on what offers I get. I understand it is a nn runner, but is in very good condition apart from the mechanical problems listed and it is fitted with many good parts.

So make me an offer everyone.

give us a rough figure please pal.

I really have no idea of what this is realistically worth. I know I have spent a lot of money and I am not likely to see it back because the car is a non runner. This is why I would like offers to see if it is worth selling.

Must get £1200, the wheels alone must be worth £350 in the condition they are in.

tbh i doubt you'll get more than 600 mate, non runner and an fr7 with a knackered crank = £££ i'm afraid

HYBRID_HAZ

Well it does also come with a complete F7P engine, gearbox, ecu and loom. With all the parts and the condition of the car I think that is a fair price.

will it come with the cams and pullies?

HYBRID_HAZ
25-02-2007, 23:58
The Williams engine will be complete apart from the cams, pullies and ecu. The F7P engine will have everything included.

if i were you mate i'd sell it as a running valver (as in put the engine back in) and sell the f7r seperate. you'll get more what you want for it that way :) just a non runner is a pain in the ass for someone with no idea what they're doing!

You have a good point there but I don't really have the time to do it.

takes about 3 hours to put an engine in mate. its a one day job if the engine bay is free. maybe a weekend job tops if you need to remove one and fit the the other

fancy another project rich?

realisticly i wouldnt pay for than 600 just beause of the amount of work envolved. theres getting it trailered away and getting it fixed. fair enough comes with f7p, the fact that it has a knakered f7r init dosnt make it worth any more, specially without head and cams.

wish i had £850..

Dude why don't you just fit the engine and sell it as a Hybrid...

if you need a hand your not a million miles away...

HYBRID_HAZ

Just don't have the time or energy. If I was to fix it I would just fit the valver engine.

Anyone?

Suprised no1 bought this

unfortunately i'm not (no disrespect mate) it sound like the crank is ****ed in the 2.0l, plus it doesnt include the cams or ECU of it. Although you have an engine to go in, its still a non runner at present, meaning that its worth about 5-600 imho as the shell looks tidy. Stick the 1.8 in and you'll prob get 800-1k for it mate. mehcnical work needed of such magnitude cuts off 80% of the market before they even look past the engine replacement

Joel

I posted that before i realised it was a non runner lol

yea I'd say £550-700 IMO
