Is there a guide for this somewhere? Any special kind of sealant required?

not really, just ensure its flexible and fill to taste. as my mounts is new i only filled the outer edge, which has the most flexibility, well did have! 8)

did it like this on both sides:

does this actually work? cos surely the selant is a fair bit softer than the rubber used in OE mounts?

MY mount is on its way out, di u recommend the sealant route or a new one?

as far as i,m aware the uprated item has the stanard bush turned though 90 degrees. then to further uprate you can fill the voids with tiger seal

As above rotate bush 90 degrees.

I did it with mine and it made a difference.

£30 from Renault and uprate it yourself..... Easy.

do it this way end enjoy super duper gear changes and no engine movement at all - bit more vibration on idle through the car but trust me its soooo worth it.

i tried to turn mine but cudnt get the buadger out so gave up n filled it, and believe me its considerably stronger now, the sealant is much stiffer than the rubber as rubber only had 2 little joins in area i filled
