I have some micro fine cracks in my boot strip. Anyone know any products to remove them? The cracks are too large to polish out, but i was wondering if i can get anything to buff, fill, sand, or rub them out.
Prob be cheaper to get j3ned to source you a new one from Renault.
Could try T-cutting it mate??
Cracked or scratched?
If its cracked you could try sanding them down, and then filling them, and sanding, but then that involves painting it again
Woudl prolly be 10x easier to buy a new one mate

They are 100 quid from reno, plus i wasted 25 quid buying a mint one off spree that has these cracks in it.
By the way dont buy anything from him. He described it as immaculate and as new, when in fact its ****ed.
Wanker.
If they are cracks then the only thing that will remove them is to fill over them, if they are scratches then a cutting compound such as G3 will take them out
Plastic weld to fill gaps and rub back?

Where can i get plastic weld from?
You actually send/take it somewhere and they do it for you. Most bodyshops will have the contact number of someone that does this type of thing.
fill my gap and rub my crack?
lad - any more of these outbursts and you will given a corroded orange wheel with no silver rim.

You an do it yourself, i did it on my bumper, bascially heat up somethign like a screwdriver till its really hot and then use it to 'weld' the plastic bits back together, you then had to sand it down and fill it, and if they are only hairline cracks you are much better off forgetting the plastic weld, and just sanding and filling
