Just nipped down to the car and noticed a puddle on the front of the engine on the drivers side. Looked underneath and its dripping off the bottom of the radiator. Ive checked the coolant bottle and the levels fine and it isnt the washer bottle as thats on the other side. Any ideas please?
Steve
could still be dripping without you noticing the levels much. just keep an eye on it or take it to a garage and have it pressure tested

just checked it now and its coming from the rubber bung underneath the rad. not dripping that much tho
that bung isnt a seal or anything, its just part of the mounting for the rad, if the rads leaking it wont be from there, it will be the rad itself

Bugger!!! Its dripping very slowly but when I push the rubber bit in, a bit of water comes out then stops! Strange
its the rubber at the bottom of the rad isnt ur talkin about, the bottom of the rad has a mouled plastic base with a little peg that goes through that rubber then the whole lot pokes through into the rad tray part of the subframe?

theres 2 of them underneath the rad with like pins inside them
whip it out and take it for testing
I thought mine was there and it turned out to be the water pump!

dont think its the water pump that fook!!! heard thats an expensive job lol
^^^ erm yeh.... so is everything else I'm having done!
if you can find the leak on the rad, if it is the rad, i fixed mine on the GTT with something called leak fix, made by plastic padding, never leaked a drop after that
in my opinion don,t ever use rad weld etc if your intending on keeping a vehicle

in my opinion don,t ever use rad weld etc if your intending on keeping a vehicle
the stuff i used went on the outside, not inside the cooling system
