time for it to go up for sale as im doing loads more miles now, so decided to get me a diesel :shock:

williams 1 plaque No. 381
120,000 miles
MOT till end feb 07
tax expires end of Jan 06

In the last 12 months I have replaced the following parts, they have all been carried out either by Main Renault Dealer or Renault specialist:

Had top end rebuild and cambelt change at 119,000 miles, all valves replaced.
Steering column
Clutch plus cable
Front suspension
Alternator
Radiator
NSF wheel bearing

all the above work has cost me in excess of £5k

All original paintwork, with little or no rust.

Fitted with a K-tec stainless exhaust and de-cat pipe (i still have the cat)

All the interior is mint, so cuts or marks on the seats.

now some bad points
There the usual stonechips on the front and a small dent on the front corner of the bonnet and a little scratch on the rear bumper.

Also needs some new front discs to pass MOT

Im looking for somewhere around £2500 ono, but ill consider offers, maybe even a swap for a diesel, what you got??

MOT runs out mid Feb (not gonna re-test it) but ill put 6 months tax on it

Will need new pads to pass MOT

booked in for MOT inspection thursday, i know its gonna fail, just want the exact list of what it fails on.

Ill put it up on here when known

had an MOT today to see what it failed on, here it is:

Front discs and pads
emissions (cat pipe is sat on my back seat, got de-cat pipe in)
headlight allignment

Thats it, nothing else needs doing.

I will have the MOT fail cert available if anyone wants to see it.

Someone could get a good car for a good price by the looks of things.

Apparently you are allowed to drive a car, without an MOT provided you have booked it at an MOT centre. So if you have the car insured and it has Tax - you can book the car at the MOT centre near your house and drive it there - if you are stopped the police can call and check to see if your vehicle is booked to be MOT'd.

Surely someone on here can confirm this...

yeah thats true, i did it on wednesday. drove from portsmouth to reading (where i work) with no mot, but was booked in on weds so i had no fear of driving.

i didnt get pulled over tho, but i was confident if i had been!
