Northy suggest you sticky this lol
From the 27th February 2007 if you are caught using your mobile phone whilst driving you will have to pay a £60 fine and receive 3 penalty points on your license.
Driving while using your mobile phone is very dangerous an anyone who does it is foolish IMO.
I never do it, so the changes in the penalties dont make no odds to me.
Annoys the fcuk out of me when I come across/end up behind idiots driving while on their phones, you can spot them a mile off cos they drive like twats!

There was a thing in the paper about a law they want to bring in where they can charge u £60 and 3 points. Included were driving while on the phone, having a cig, playing with the radio and eating.
