no worries, matbrown may have a spare tho so drop him a pm
its the idle control valve, bypasses throttle body and allows air onto the engine so it can idle.
does your car keep cutting out? if so clean the shutter inside the valve with carb cleaner and wd40 it, shud be fine then! just look down the opening at either side and find the shutter and work back n forth with a cotton bud till it moves freely

As above...give it a good clean first with some carb cleaner before you get carried away buying a new one.

hope it helps 8)
yea clean it out with wd40 and card cleaner .. try it then .. i have done this twice .. works wonders £90 for a new one
the thing get very dry due to air and dirt
With the air filter removed, it should suck quite loudly at idle rpm. And engine should stall if you block the hole. As mentioned, clean with card spray and check for hose leaks.
If you're still having trouble after cleaning it, I am sure another member will have a spare one for cheap
thanks for your help guys, its running a little bit better but still reving at about 2g! mat has got one so think ill just buy that!
im thinking of getting rid and getting a 182 now tho!!
thanks
