got onto nick at hill power regarding this, he said it would fit, but he wouldn't advise it, so i gave it a miss

wtf? lol its fine. in fact the 1.8 16v head is used among tuniers for gas flowing as its got more meat on it and is a better base than the williams head

1.8 and williams are the same except inlet valve sizes
