I know it says dont ask :wink: but what is performance like mate?

its Shit!!!

there is no intercooler and just a spacer to lower the comp ratio. its running 7psi and still aint faster than a valver..and will blow up soon

Apart from that its spot on :lol:

Surely a turbo would push the bhp up more than that?! I thought they were about 110-115 standard :?

110std and its running 7psi with no intercooler. so 30% increase aint bad. anyting more and it will go bang.

bearing in mind the std comp ratio is 10.9-1 lol not the best for a turbo car :lol:

Its also been done on a phase 1 lump which are prone for bottom end failure. Adding a turbo can never be a good thing :P Not much else can be added to these after the turbo. There was one on my old ZSOC forum that had NOS as well, poor engine :(

Ohh yeah Van Aaken are dire!!

The engine itself is nice standard just not the fastest ever. I did like my 1.7 FRP puma lump tho before i sold it and someone blew it up :(

YER... why would you turbo an engine that for the same money you can fit tb's cams bebolts and it will have 170bhp+ and rev to 8200 like a Honda.
