FIRST OUTING IN CUP CAR

Hi all,

I managed to get out on track on saturday, i went up to elvington.

Had an early start as i was towing up there.

Car ran well but to be honest think elvington is too bumoy for a car on circuit suspension.

Ran shit on road tyres but i then swapped to slicks which transformed the car, got enought heat into them within 3 laps so no problems there.

Was interesting afte rlunch when it was slightly damp on the main straight exit, some interesting slides!!!!

Next circuit soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

aye the cup cars don't like crap surfaces.....Scott's was bouncing round brunters at fcs when I was in with him....proper track is where they shine!

I have some vids, well 2 sessions i recorder onto my camcorder, the small tape version.

NO IDEA how to get this onto PC, i dont think i have the card or cables

As posted in discussion a couple of my mates were down there on sat, one was in a green? elise and the other in a stripped out 205 gti. They mentioned the clio cup car but i was unsure if it was yours.

Yes i was speaking to a guy from the pug forums, in a white 1.9 gti with a cage, there was a few other pugs though....

Yes the audi was mental but not as quick as the atom 300, that thing is bloody mental!!!!! 650 bhp per ton!!!

Well you'll do better on a proper smooth track i suppose, yeah i heard the atom was supercharged.

My mate with the 205 said they were parked next to you for a while, (mate doesnt own the car he was just with the owner) Said he'd been chatting to you so must be the same one.

Yeah he was buzzing his t*ts off as it was his first go out on track. You'll have to get those stickers changed cant be having free advertising, what was the original sponsor? Or was it just colours with smaller stickers on?
