Does anyone actually run one??
I am thinking about making one with my spare sump.
thats not going to help under heavy acceleration or braking tho....
where else would you baffle it stan?
coming out at 90deg from the sides that run the width of the car

Width of the car??
How big do you think my sump is?
erm...read it properly...that run the width of the car...as in from left to right.

Clearly not.
"Width of the car" to me says as wide as the car.
You should have said that I need one mounted transversely across the sump.
But now I get what you mean.
transversely eww get you http://www.williamsclio.co.uk/forum/images/smiles/ghey.gif

Didfn't use perpendicular tho....disappointed in you Mr Stanley
no, besause it would be perpindicular to the length of the car   (and before you get confused pikie...I dont mean your sump is as long as the car :P )
I said "the sides that run the width of the car" i.e im offering a directional association for you. If you cant make that simple association, then what more can I do?!
It makes perfect sense....why on earth would I try to say your sump is as wide as the car??? thats just thick.
Dunno why I bother half the time

what's the point anyway! :o
what's the point anyway! :o
Helps prevent possible oil starvation on hard cornering
LOL, chi8ldren , children, has anyone actually had the oil light come on when on track?
If not then whats the point
prevention is better than cure old chap.
This is best done now, rather than at the same time as a rebuild because "the light came on".
Suppose.......
So how much to baffle a provided sump craig?

I was being flippant!
Renault would have done it if it needed to be done! :D
Renault didnt intend on us lot being "silly" and taking them on track increasing the chances of engine anhialation so i suppose we have to do the best we can to prevent problems lol
