not as far as im aware??? the wii can only be updated (which will then stop the copies and homebrew from working) if you update via the system update. as far as im aware no update will happen via playing an online game (also you have to select yes or no to the update for it to take place)

games ive successfully played online are

quantumn of solace
mario kart wii
fifa 2009 all play

i take it all the games that you have got hold of have been run thru brickblocker to patch the system update on the game???
