GARAGE door security

I want to beef up the locks/security on my up and over garage door, what can anyone reccomend.

Was thinking of one of those steel bars that fold down onto drive etc etc

Do you have access to the garage from the rear or the house? if plate over the handle and lock on the outside.

No i rent the garage from mother in law!!!!!

Its a newish up and over door.

drill holes either side of the garage door into the frame work so you can put some bolts thru(obviously you must have access from the rear)
