They did a trial with 3 people, it was on the news. The lowest price was £20 somethin a month, a women who just went to work and back on quiet roads. Seems reasonable they said, wtf it works out more a year than normall tax on a large ebgined car and would be more per month if she had a ****in life and drove elsewhere
i do 70 miles a day, i will fight them in the streets, i fill fight them on the plains, i will fight them on the oceans i will not give in!

Could be a stinger for you then Coops! I saw it on the news aswell, the white van man had to pay a fortune! lol.
Wouldnt they have to fit a tracker or something along those lines to be able to charge you properly?!

Yes, they would want a black box fitting to every car, which means they would be able to moniter speeds if they so wished.

sod that! lol
yeah they would need a black box fitting to every car, will cost them a fortune as im not paying for one! and as mentioned they will be able to moniter your speed/where you go etc, which is a invasion of privacy isnt it?
I just signed it. Not like it'll make much difference Blair Doesn't even listen top his own Ministers, let alone those insgnifcant little people who put him in power
Worth doing though, pigs may fly.

yeah it is invasion of privacy. I wont be paying for one either but we prbably will end up forking out for it indirectly through one of them stupid stealth taxes.
I doubt this will ever be passed despite their tries!! LOL
Like we dont pay enough with the ammount of tax on our fuel!
