anyone done it? can it be easily done or should i take mine down to autowind screens and just have them sort a new one
there bonded in, imposible unless you have the right tools.
New screens aint cheep :roll: 240ish fitted iirc
hence i sold mine with a cracked screen :lol:

You fully comp?
Might be worth doing it through your insurance company. Most these days don't effect your no claims.
Round here can get them for £70 - £80 fitted
Ring around and use the yellow pages, its only a simple glass screen.
normally a 50quid excess if u are fully comp, will take autoglass about 30mins to do, and they sort all insurance details out for you.
i would claim thru your insurance... even TFPT these days sometimes comes with windscreen cover, be supprised if you don't have it.

in my experience auto windscreens have been ace very cheap and good at fitting em.

well im fully comp and the excess is 50 quid, just wondered if i could just get one with out spending the 50 quid :P
