short holiday?

im thining of taking me and the mrs away for a short holiday (maybe thurs to mon) in dec to somewhere in europe but im not sure where and was wondering if anyone can recomend somewhere?

i was personally thinking somehwere like berlin or prauge (i hear they have some really good christmas markets).
could someone whos been before recomend some decent hotels and places to go / things to do?

Prague is nice, but you have to avoid the shitty areas nowa days.

I'd go for Italy.

Bit more culture and less stag partys.
