M reg Naples Red Clio 1.8 16v. This car is in far above average condition, and drives absolutely superb! By far the best and tightest valver (or Williams come to that!) that I have driven for a good 4 or 5 years!
The car has had 5 owners from new. It has covered 124k miles, but has superb service history, including a £1300+ rebuild early last year, and many other receipts. Details as follows:
Mot November 2007 (just went straight through last week, not a single failure or even any advisories!)
Tax Feb 2007
Bodywork:
Well above average condition, very few stone chips on bonnet (all minor chips). Arches are ok, one is mint, the other has some slight bubbling, and has had a very small repair, as can be shown in the photos. However, this wasn't done professionally, only to stop the spread of the rust. The rest of the car is practically un-marked. Good wheels, all with 195/50/15 Toyo Proxes
Interior:
All very good condition, seat bolsters are not worn. All electrics work as Renault intended, and even the sunroof is leak free! Just to sumarise, it has remote c/locking, e/windows, e/mirrors, e/sunroof. The car still has the original radio/cassette player, which works from the steering wheel remote.
Engine:
Totally standard apart from a K&N IK. The car has nearly £3,000 of receipts since 2001, a major receipt being for a new head rebuild, cambelt kit, steering column (all gen. Renault!) and service in May 2005 (13k miles ago). That came to over £1300!! Also, another invoice from last year for £300+ for genuine Renault brake discs and pads, and another £350+ for brake pipes and new spring. The engine always runs with spot-on oil pressure, and never overheats, or even runs over the normal temprature areas.
The book shows 15 service stamps, all being Renault main dealers upto 76k in March 2001. The last service was done in April this year, at 119,938 miles. It has every single MoT since new, except the very 1st one!
The only non-standard parts of this car are the K&N IK, some Kinectic front components, and an immobiliser.
I've driven lots of valvers and Williams, but its been a very long time since i've driven one which feels as tight as this. It even puts my mint fully serviced Williams to shame!!
If the rear arch was repaired professionally, this would undoubtably be one of the mintest valvers around, and im sure its got many years left in it yet.
If you want any more details, or photos (these will be added in next couple of days), please phone me on 07931 428 893
