He either fluffed a gear change (or two), was running it in, or having two extra doors on the back of a Golf makes a big difference, because I wouldn't have thought a standard Williams would pull almost two cars lengths from stand-still to 80ish. Slower than a 3-door Mk4 R32 :?

That's why I think he messed up a gear change or two, because from previous experience with R32s I wouldn't have expected to pull like I did. But as Northy's just pointed out, mine doesn't wheel-spin in the first three gears so it must be a slow one.

And as the rolling eyes smiley useage seems to be in full swing today, you can have one back... :roll:

r 32s..........vr6 4 motion an 2wd versions....all can be wasted by the williams.


mk3 vr6....mk4 vr6 and 4motion, mk5 r32

all tried n tested.

r32's can be wasted agreed, tip end though the golf will fart in your face

aye....i raced me mate to chesterfield one day.....on way to john nobles....absolutely hammered him.......got on the mway....was on the limiter in top....couldnt even see him.



5 mins later.......he comes steamin past like im stood still.


happened in his old v6 mondeo too lol.......this was on std 6500 limit tho. ;)

Depends what your driving and what you regard 'wasting' as, but they can't usually be wasted in my Williams, that's for sure!
